Overview
Fallen Rock (La Roca Caída) is a wall dive off La Parguera. Heads up: the reef starts at about 65 feet and the wall drops past recreational limits, so it is a deep dive. Large schools of jacks, spotted eagle rays and dolphins are reported, with occasional billfish. A 2008 dive magazine described a V-shaped notch where a broken-off, coral-covered boulder forms a pinnacle, about 45 minutes by boat from La Parguera, recommended it for advanced divers and listed chromis, Caesar grunts, schoolmasters and ocean triggerfish; a 2006 article noted a ledge near 120 feet with rope sponges and a mooring buoy. A 1998 guide gave 60 to 125 feet.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
