Overview
A 1996 U.S. Navy historical survey recorded a single intact Pratt & Whitney R-1830-92 radial aircraft engine, with its propeller, on Motor Reef offshore of Lajas in about 55 feet of water. It is a Navy-type engine, but the aircraft has not been identified. These are historic military aircraft remains, so no location details are published here; leave them undisturbed.[1]
