Overview

Boqueron Reef is a wall dive off Isla de Mona, not to be confused with Boquerón town in Cabo Rojo. Training-agency blogs name it among Mona's main sites and describe sheer, cliff-like walls with gorgonian sea fans, black coral and a variety of colorful corals. Published depth information is lacking. It is reported to lie within Isla de Mona Natural Reserve, which NOAA lists as having no-take zones, with fishing and anchoring restricted; check current DRNA rules.[1][2][3]
