Overview
Heads up: watch for boat traffic at the marina entrance. Black Eagle, also called Punta Ensenada or La Marina, is a shore site in Rincón where a parking lot and ramp give easy access to the reef; a local operator rates it beginner, with a maximum around 40 ft and an average near 25 ft. Elkhorn coral, sea fans and sea plumes shelter hawksbill turtles, blue tang and giant anemones. A 2008 reserve plan places the fishing ramp next to the marina just south of the Tres Palmas reserve, and an operator runs shore dives and snorkel tours in the reserve starting next to its shop.[1][2][3][4][5]
