Overview

Horseshoe Reef is a shore-dive reef in San Juan that a local operator describes together with nearby Figure Eight: right off the beach, '30 ft high', with tunnels to swim through and fish feeding. The operator calls the reef a breeding area for marine life, including seahorses, octopus, squid, crustaceans, drum fish, batfish, French angelfish and snappers. A 1998 guide gave depths of 20–30 ft.[1][2]
