Overview

Cayo Lobito is a reef dive off Culebra known for its large population of nurse sharks, with hawksbill turtles, southern stingrays and flamingo tongues also reported. A current source gives a maximum depth of about 75 feet. Older sources agree on the depth: a 1999 operator page described a drop-off to 75 feet with almaco jacks, cobias and barracudas, and a 2008 dive magazine recommended it for intermediate divers and up.[1][2][3][4]
